The focus was on both economic and political discussions. DBC’s management met H.E. Ahmed Alattar, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Germany, as well as Ahmed Akharthi, the UAE’s economic attaché. Relations with the IFZA (International Free Zone Authority), one of our closest partners and one of the most important locations for business start-ups in the Emirates, were also deepened in a meeting with Diego Michel, Director International Business Relations.

In his opening speech, BVMW Federal Managing Director Christoph Ahlhaus emphasized the importance ofinnovative strength, a willingness to take risks and future-oriented entrepreneurship. These values also characterize the work of the DBC. As a reliable partner, Dubai Business Consulting accompanies entrepreneurs, investors and emigrants from Germany on their way to the United Arab Emirates: With speeches by Federal Minister of Finance Dr. Jörg Kukies, Dr. Gregor Gysi (Member of the German Bundestag), Dr. Franziska Brantner (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen) and Berlin’s Governing Mayor Kai Wegner, the medium-sized business sector was highlighted as an economic foundation. Wegner explained: “If we want economic strength and growth, then we need a strong SME sector – and this needs to be back in the focus of politics.” For DBC, participation was not only an expression of commitment to German SMEs, but also a strategically important opportunity to deepen international relationships. The focus is always on supporting customers not only when entering the Emirates, but also in their long-term economic and personal success.
